Founded in 2020, Appalachian Teas & Botanicals connects you to the spirit of place. Our small-batch artisan teas and botanicals are sourced from the fields and forests in the heart of Appalachia & blended with the finest organic ingredients from “beyond the pond.” 

Plants tell much of the story of Appalachia, one often linked to over-harvest, extraction and extinction; to destruction, depletion and lack. 

We are here to write a new chapter–of the powerful connection between Plants, Place & Purpose-for the good of the land, for the good of the people.

About our Founder: Lori Briscoe weaves wisdom, science and spirit into products and practices that honor ancestral knowledge and contemporary resilience & renewal. She founded Appalachian Teas & Botanicals to bring together deep-rooted expertise and intuitive insight to her work as an herbalist, guide, educator, writer and creator.
